Fast service. After you place your order you can hear the wok sizzle in the kitchen. Very tasty food and a good variety of pork, chicken, beef and seafood.

This is the best Chinese food in Sierra Vista. I've been here over 4 years and others have come and gone. The ones closer to town and buffets are not worth a second or third visit. The food is always fresh and they deliver! Prices are great as well. I always get the General Tso and Sesame Chicken. They would be our Favorite :).

Best hot and spicy pork I have ever had. The seasoning is just right. The proportions of meat to vegetables are well balanced and I appreciate the abundance of food for each entree: it makes for great leftovers! If you have a chance, they have great lunch specials. For $3.99/$4.99 you get a generous portion of a dozen or so different Chinese/ Cantonese standbys. Filling and cheap, it doesn't get much better than this, especially at this price. The food is fresh, vegetables are crisp, the hot & sour soup is yum, as is the Pao Thai (I'm echoing another review). On a few occasions the cook was a little heavy handed with the cooking oil resulting in an oily Ta-Chin Chicken. The food is always face-of-the-sun hot and steamy, even for take away. The rest of the menu is large and varied along with seafood and vegetarian options as well. Several restaurants have occupied this building over the years and I have always felt the architecture was better suited for a different genre of business than a restaurant, starting from the original: Cactus Corners. Despite the awkward layout and basic decor, I hope this business will withstand the sometimes fickle patrons of Sierra Vista and be tenured. Rating: 4.2 Stars: 4.5 Stars for consistency, 4.1 Stars for cleanliness, 4.4 Stars for food freshness and flavor, 4.6 Stars for price (lunch factored).

Love this place. The food is always fresh and the lunch specials are super cheap. A lunch special includes soup, rice, egg roll, main dish, and fried wonton. The menu is very extensive and when you ask to make it extra spicy, they do not hold back on the spice.

I love the Fortune Cookie's lunch special! Today I had the perfect portion of almond chicken, fried rice, egg drop soup, and an egg roll...for $4.99? Seriously? I can't even believe we debated going to the fast food place on the other side of town. It's not the best Chinese food I've ever had but it's good. Service was great!

We ordered delivery, and it took about an hour and a half for it to arrive. There was plenty of food for the amount of money we spent. However, the food was mediocre at best. My moo shu pork didn't have much pork, and what was there was more like pork jerky-it was very tough and hard. My husband had the house lo mein, and he wasn't any more impressed with his than I was with mine. We shared a large egg flower soup and fried dumplings. The soup was tepid, and just not very good. We normally both love egg flower soup wherever we go, and never leave any in our bowls. But, with this soup, we left almost the whole container behind. The dumplings were probably the best part of the meal, if you could get past how oily they were. On the plus side, the lady on the phone was very nice. And, they have 2 liter drinks, which was good for us! We definitely won't be ordering from them again!

Don't. Do. It. It pains me to write such a bad review, considering how nice the woman working there is, but this just wasn't good. With all of the wonderful options in SV, do yourself a favor and pick one of the others. We ordered take out, and while you could tell it was fresh (fried/cooked to order), I can't help but think it was all pre-frozen. Tasted very bland and generic. Even the egg rolls were blah. We ordered the General Tso's and the Sweet & Sour Pork. The General Tso's was ok, not great; but the S&S Pork was just oily, fried bland. The highlight was the steamed rice, and the service. We walked in, ordered immediately, and had our food within 15 minutes. Two other to-go orders picked up while we were there, so maybe we just got bad items. We might try this again, but I doubt it.

Love this place. We made the drive often to enjoy their food. May not be much on atmosphere but we are there to eat not look at decorations. Never tried anything on the menu we didn't like. Good food, great prices.

When you are in the middle of nowhere, be greatful this place is here to feed you! I don't know why everyone is complaining! You won't find any Michelin stars here but you will find decent Chinese food, friendly help and a full belly. No vomiting and this mess other folks are talking about. That's just mean and silly. Thumbs up on the Amer-Chinese food. It hits the spot!

Best Chinese food around. Friendly staff and you get plenty of food for your money. Skip the cold Chinese buffets around here and go to the Fortune Cookie.

I'm not one to give a poor review, but this place is not up to par and I will leave it at that.

My husband and I both got sesame chicken and it was very soggy. It tasted very cheap and we paid $22 for very little food. We order take out so I have no complaints about staff or atmosphere. Even if all other Chinese restaurants closed except the fortune cookie I still wouldn't return.

This place does not deserve even one star. After craving Chinese food, my husband and I yelped the best Chinese food in the area and this one had the highest reviews so we trusted yelp. Yikes! We ordered general Tso, Kung pao chicken and fried rice. We got home and opened everything up and the smell alone made me want to vomit. Smelt like dirty garbage. I didn't even want to eat it after the smell. The chicken didn't have any sauce on it, it was just nasty fried chicken pieces with some type of vinegar on it and the Kung pao was not chicken, it was some slimy soft rubbery meat, pretty sure it was some type of fish. The fried rice was just old dried up white rice with some soy sauce on it. Anyways, it was disgusting and made me want to vomit. Still just thinking about that disgusting display of food makes me wanna throw up. Never again will we eat Chinese food in the sierra vista area or at all anymore. Eh so disgusting. Don't waste your time or money on this place, Panda Express is probably your best bet at this point, and even that place has issues. Good luck if you plan on eating here!

Best kept secret! Tasty, fresh, and delicious. It is worth the drive if you're worried about the distance from SV. I'll be come here more often

Good Chinese food! This is a good find in Sierra vista. I've had mushu pork, sweet and sour chicken, pad thai and pork lomein all were good. Their white rice leaves a little to be desired so I'll stick with the noodle dishes.

They delivered my order within 30 minutes. General Tso's chicken was good. Chicken lo mein was good too. Their egg rolls are similar to lumpia/spring rolls but bigger. I also ordered the Garlic Chicken (spicy) & it wasn't tasty... but those are my taste buds. It's also expensive if you don't order during their lunch or dinner special.

We ordered for delivery a while ago. Food was disgusting, we couldn't even finish it. Not to mention delivery estimated time was 45 minutes. ..we got out food 1 hour and 15 minutes later. Don't waste your money on this place.

I haven't like Chinese food for a long time because it always 'bothered' me later on, but I was convinced to try this place and now I cannot get enough of it! Literally everything I have tried has been the best I ever had. Nine of us ate there last weekend and all got something different and then passed the plates so we could try them. The hot spicy pork is superb, Mongolian beef is wonderful, the vegetable delight and the moo goo gai pain were amazing, the won-ton soup had the best broth ever, and even the foil wrapped chicken appetizer was just so yummy! You MUST try this place.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
